Riyadh – Saba
Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Dr. Mansour Bagash, discussed with the Assistant Foreign Minister of Japan, Mr. Hayashi, the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen and develop them and coordinate positions on issues of common interest in international forums.
Dr. Bagash reviewed the developments in the political and economic situation in Yemen, and the extent of the grave violations of human rights committed by the Houthi coup militia against the Yemeni people and its threat to the security and stability of the region and international navigation, stressing that the Houthi militia is not serious about engaging in the political process due to its dependence on the Iranian regime and its subversive policies in the region.
He praised the Japanese government's humanitarian aid and grants to the Yemeni people in various fields, and its support for constitutional legitimacy, which contributes to improving basic services and the economic recovery process for Yemen.
