High ranking delegation from the World Bank headed by Executive Director of World Bank Mirza Hassan arrived the transitional capital of Aden Monday.
The delegation will hold meetings with Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik, a number of government officials, representatives of economic and commercial sectors and other bodies for discussing social, economic and developmental challenges and means of overcoming them.
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wa'id Batheeb confirmed significance of the visit to promote joint coordination between Yemen and the World Bank, enhancing development and defining forthcoming strategic and service projects.
He pointed out to expansion of WB's interventions in Yemen, especially in prime sectors associated with food security, energy, basic services and supporting governmental institutional capabilities.
