Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik held a telephone conversation today with his Somalis counterpart Hamzah Beri, congratulating him on his appointment as prime minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
The phone conversations touched upon Yemeni-Somalis bilateral relations and cooperation in different spheres, mainly security of international maritime navigation and coordination to protect the mutual interests in the international stage.
They also discussed the need for resuming the joint committee's actions, exchange visits and enforces the agreements signed between the two countries.
The Somali Prime Minister stated that his very keen to further bolster bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries.
