Yemen's President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, and the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held today, Thursday, an extensive meeting, and discussed the brotherly relations.

The talks were attended by deputies of the Presidential Leadership Council, Sultan Al-Arada, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi, and Othman Majali, who are currently accompanying president Al-Alimi in Doha as part of a regional tour that has included Kuwait, Bahrain and Egypt.

In the meeting, which was also attended by Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar welcomed the President and members of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council, and congratulated them for assuming power in Yemen. existing within the Presidential Leadership Council, its economic and service reforms, and alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council presented to the Emir of the State of Qatar the latest developments in the Yemeni situation, the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the international community to bring peace and stability to Yemen, amid continuous intransigence on the part of the Houthi militia backed by the Iranian regime.

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi also spoke about the reforms led by the Presidential Leadership Council he leads in the economic, service, living, and security fields, and the desired Qatari support for these reforms.
