His Excellency President Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) received today at his residence in the Egyptian capital Cairo, the Speaker of Arab Parliament, member of Bahraini Parliament, Adel al-Assomi.

The President voiced appreciation of the PLC and the Yemeni peoples for the Arab Parliament's role in supporting Yemen and its legitimate institutions.

He stated that Arab Parliaments have a significant role to play in backing the fair Yemeni cause.

The President touched upon the developments in Yemen, citing the PLC's and government's efforts to sustain peace and maintain the truce, despite Houthi militia's intransigence.

The Arab Parliament Speaker confirmed Arab Parliaments' principled position on the side of the Yemeni peoples to restore the State, eliminate Iran-sponsored coup d'état.
