Authority, in the temporary capital Aden, confirmed that airlines, international organizations and operators must obtain a prior flight permission from the Authority to enter the airspace of the Republic of Yemen, as it is the official civil aviation authority of the country.

BaSorrah meets with President of IPU

RIYADH - SABA
Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsessn BaSorrah met today here with the President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Duarte Pacheco.

Aspects of relations between the Yemeni Parliament and the IPU were elaborately discussed.

The latest developments in Yemen including the UN-led efforts to make peace were also touched upon.

BaSorrah detailed Pacheco on the government's efforts to maintain the UN-sponsored truce and re-establish peace, blaming Iran-allied Houthi militias for blocking peace efforts and proposal, further worsening the Yemeni peoples' suffering.

The President of the IPU confirmed the Union's supportive stance in support of the Yemeni people, Yemen's unity, security and stability.

Pacheco welcomed the invitation for him to visit the temporary capital Aden next month to attend the Yemeni Parliament's sessions.
