The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

President of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi visited Thursday Bahraini interior ministry to be acquainted with developments of security institution in Bahraini Kingdom as one improved countries in this field.
Interior Minister of Bahrain General Lieutenant Sheikh Rashed bin Abdullah Al- Khalifa acquainted President al-Alimi with great updating in the security institution and its professional work in fighting crime, tightening security and stability and protecting social and domestic safety in the brotherly kingdom.
He toured the ministry's departments and listened from their directors on police accomplishments in different domains.
President al-Alimi expressed high admiration of Bahraini progress in security work under the patronage of his Highness King Hamad bin Isa of Bahrain and his crown prince and Bahraini government.
