Minister of Transport, Dr. Abdulsalam Hamid, discussed with the delegation of the Salanaj Company and the Heracles Group, aspects of investment opportunities in the various transport sectors, especially in the field of ports and airports.
The Minister indicated that Yemen has entered a new political phase after the Riyadh consultations, which resulted in the formation of a new consensual presidential council to lead the transitional phase, whose main objectives are to stabilize and enhance stability and create a service-development model in the liberated areas through rebuilding institutions, rehabilitating infrastructure and improving state resources and spending. on public services and ensuring regular salaries and reconstruction.
He stressed that the government, represented by the Ministry of Transport, is working hard and actively to stimulate and encourage investment in the ports, airports and land transport sectors, expressing the ministry's readiness to provide all facilities to local and regional investors and foreign investments, especially in light of the difficult economic conditions the country is experiencing.
