A meeting held Monday chaired by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation and Yemen’s Governor to the World Bank Dr. Afrah al-Zouba and attended by a high-level World Bank delegation led by the Bank’s Vice President for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan Ousmane Dione discussed ways to enhance partnership and expand support across development, humanitarian, service, and economic sectors in the country.

Yemen's Ambassador to Somalia Fadhl al-Haneq discussed Tuesday with the Speaker of Somali People Federal Parliament Adam Mohammed promoting mutual relations between the two countries.

Al-Haneq congratulated Mohammed on assuming the post of People Federal Parliament Speaker, hoping him success in his tasks.

He touched upon latest developments in Yemen, including formation of the Presidential Leadership Council and returning state institutions to the transitional capital of Aden to practice their tasks.

For his part, the Somali Parliament Speaker thanked Yemen for supporting Somalia in its ordeal, which Somali people is overcoming it.
