Defense Minister discusses with US, UK military attachés bilateral cooperation

Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohammed al-Maqdashi met here today with the American Military and Security Attaché in the US embassy to the Republic of Yemen Colonel Mark Rittman.

They discussed aspects of military and security cooperation and coordination between the two countries.

Yemeni-American partnership in fighting terrorism was key point of the discussions.

General al-Maqashi highly praised the US administration's supportive stances in support of the Yemeni government and peace efforts to establish peace Yemen.

Separately also the Minister of Defense discussed today with British Military Attaché in the UN embassy in the Republic of Yemen bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the fields of defense.

Al-Maqdashi deeply appreciated the UK's support for Yemen's security and stability.
