His Excellency, President of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Rashad al-Alimi along with the members of the PLC extended today, Monday, their own condolences and on behalf of the Yemeni peoples to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed the President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the brotherly Emirati peoples on the death of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
President Ali al-Alimi and his deputies Aidarous Azabidi, Tariq Saleh, Abdullah al-Alimi, Abdurahman al-Mahrami offered condolences to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed in the Emirtai capital Abu Dhabi, expressing their deep sadness for the departure of the late Sheikh Khalifa.
On another development President al-Alimi and the PLC's members congratulated Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed on his election by the High Council of the Union a President of the UAE to lead the country toward further achievements and prosperity.
Al-Alimi and the PLC's members reiterated their high appreciation for the Emirati significant support to the Yemeni peoples and political leadership through the Emirati active participation in the Arab Coalition in support of the legitimacy in Yemen, restoring the state, establishing peace and stability in Yemen.
They also expressed confidence that the Yemeni-Emirati relations will be further developed under the wise leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
