President of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad al-Alimi sent Monday congratulation cable to Somali President Hassan Sheikh on electing him a new president to Somalia.
President al-Alimi expressed best wishes on behalf of the Presidential Leadership Council and Yemeni people to Sheikh for electing him a president for a new term, hoping him success for realizing peace, stability and prosperity to Somali people.
He also hoped that Yemeni-Somali relations witness more progress.
