PM urges reinvigorating Local Administration's role

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik has stressed that it is vitally important to revitalize the Local Administration's role in bolstering coordination between the local authorities and the central government.
During chairing a meeting with the leadership of the Local Administration today in the temporary capital Aden Dr. Ma'een stated that the government is very keen on empowering the local authorities so that they can do their jobs effectively, improving basic services and efficiently collecting revenues.
The Minister of Local Administration Hussein al-Aghbari provided a detailed report about the Ministry's program and action-plans for this year, citing the obstacles need to be overcome and the suggestions that can help in this regard.
