Yemen has demanded the international community to condemn the Houthi militia's non-adherence to the UN brokered two-month truce from the moment of its entry into effect at the beginning of this month.
Muammar al-Eryani, the country's information minister, said in statement to Saba, the Houthi militia "is continuing, since the first moments of the truce declaration, to commit breaches in the different frontlines of Marib, Hodeidah, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Aljawf, Abyan and Lahj."
He said the army has recorded "1924 violations in the first 21 days of the truce." The violations included machinegun shooting, artillery fire, deployment of military reinforcements, drone reconnaissance, trench digging and fortification constructions, sniper shootings and bombardment of civilian objects and IDPs settlements in Hodeidah, Taiz and Marib.
He said the Houthi militia are "sticking to their habit of non-adherence to obligations" and instead "trying to turn them into gains on the ground."
