The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) has confirmed its full support for the underway efforts of the UN led by the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General to Yemen Hans Grundbergs in order to establish peace, put an end of the Yemeni peoples' suffering.

In its session held today presided over by the Head of the council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi the PLC reiterated its commitment to the humanitarian truce.

The session devoted to discuss a number of political, military, security and economic issues.

The PCL stressed that it is very necessary to lift immediately the besiege imposed by Houthi militia on the city of Taiz and all Yemeni cities.
