The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf, welcomed the swearing-in of His Excellency the President of the Presidential Leadership Council Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi and members of the Council, before the House of Representatives in its session held in the temporary capital Aden, headed by the Speaker of the Council, Sheikh Sultan Al-Barakani.
Al-Hajraf congratulated Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and council members Sultan Ali Al-Arada, Tariq Muhammad Salih, Abdul Rahman Abu Zara’a, Abdullah Al-Alimi Bawazir, Othman Hussein Majali, Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, and Faraj Salmin Al-Bahsani, for taking the oath and starting an important historical stage.
Al-Hajraf affirmed the Cooperation Council’s support for the Presidential Council to enable it to exercise its tasks in everything that would achieve security and stability in Yemen and end the Yemeni crisis so that the Yemeni people would enjoy prosperity, development and peace..
