Army experts have dismantled 163 landmines planted by the Houthi militia in roads, farms and civilians' houses in Haradh district in the northern Yemen governorate of Hajjah, a military source said today.
Commander of the Special Forces' First Brigade Hussein Al-Adbaee told Saba the total landmines and bombs dismantled in Haradh since the start of this year is 550. "Vast swaths of lands are still contaminated," he said, warning civilians to stay away from suspicious objects and to report to the army.
