Chairman of Shoura Council receives Chinese ambassador to Yemen

Chairman of Shoura Council Ahmad Ubaid Bin Daghr received Thursday Chinese Ambassador to Yemen Kang Yang discussing with him latest developments in Yemen, efforts for realizing peace and latest developments of Yemeni-Yemeni consultations called by Gulf Cooperation Council.

Bing Daghr confirmed deep-rooted historical relations between Yemeni and Chinses people in all fields, praising support provided by China in all fields and support to development and economic projects in Yemen.

He praised China's support to the government of Yemen, unity and President Hadi.

For his part, the Chinese ambassador renewed his country's position supporting Yemen's legitimacy and peace chances on the bases of the three agreed upon references, welcoming Yemeni-Yemeni consultations in Riyadh.

He confirmed support of China to dialogue between Yemeni parties on the bases of ending Houthi militia's coup, regaining the state, ending the war and realizing peace across Yemen.
