RIYADH - SABA
Vice President of the Republic (Lt Gen) Ali Mohsen Saleh met today, Tuesday, with the Ambassador of the Peoples' Republic of China to the Republic of Yemen Kang Yong.
The session intended to discuss the latest developments in the Yemeni national arena and further boost Yemeni-Chinese bilateral ties.
The Vice President extended the condolences of the Yemeni political leadership and Yemeni people to the Chinese friends on the victims of the Chinese plane crash.
He highly appreciative the supportive stances of the Peoples' Republic of China in support of the international recognized Yemeni government, the unity, security, stability and territorial integrity of Yemen.
The Vice President stated that the legitimate Yemeni leadership has always been keen to establish peace, extended significant concessions for this end and constructively reacted to all regional and international peace proposals, the latest one is the GCC's call for all Yemeni political parties to sit-down together to negotiate a political settlement.
