The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Saudi program removes 1,352 mines in Yemen within a week

The Saudi mine action program “Masam” managed to clear 1,352 mines planted by the Houthi militia in various regions of Yemen during the second week of March 2022 AD.
The program said in a statement today the explosives included 14 anti-personnel mines, 935 anti-tank mines, and 395 UXOs.
This brings the number of mines cleared during the month of March to 2,438, and the number of mines cleared since Masam started operating in Yemen in mid-2018 to 325,227 mines.
