The National Center for Health Education and Information and the Medical Awareness and Consultation Hotline of the Ministry of Public Health and Population implemented today, in the interim capital, Aden, the training program for midwives to enhance community awareness about (Covid-19) with the support of UNICEF.
The two-day program includes providing 110 midwives from different directorates with knowledge and skills related to communication and covid-19, vaccinations and how to investigate rumors related to covid-19, raising the level of health awareness towards immunization and activating community surveillance.
The Deputy Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Abdullah Dahan, pointed to the importance of dealing with the rumor in a timely and professional manner that works to mitigate its effects.
