Minister of Legal Affairs and Human Rights Ahmed Arman discussed with the special representative of the Kingdom of Norway in Yemen in the temporary capital Aden today coordination and joint cooperation between our country and the Kingdom of Norway and ways to enhance them.
The meeting discussed announcing the start of implementing the national plan for women, peace and security, ways to support law enforcement authorities, and national human rights mechanisms in order to enhance the principle of accountability.
Arman reviewed the issues related to human rights as a result of the coup of the terrorist Houthi militia. For her part, the Norwegian official emphasized strengthening joint cooperation with the ministry and working to start implementing the national plan for women, peace and security in Yemen in a way that supports human rights and contributes to the peace process.
