U.S. Treasury Sanctions 21 Individuals, Entities for Involvement in Financing Houthi Militias
The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced today the designation of 21 individuals and entities, as well as the identification of one vessel, on the sanctions list for their involvement in transporting petroleum products, purchasing weapons and equipment and providing financial services to the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militias.

Health unit in the Valley District in Marib opened

Director of Public Health and Population Office in Marib Abdul-Aziz al-Shaddadi opened Monday a health unit at al-Kola area, the Valley District in Marib with support from Kuwaiti Trahom Foundation or (mercy exchange).

Al-Shaddadi listened from concerned officials to a review on health and curative services to be provided by the health unit to people of the area and its role of alleviating pressure on other health facilities in the district.

He praised support of the Kuwaiti foundation of building the unit and equipping it in addition to contribution of the Humanitarian Access Foundation, which undertook its operation and paying wages of its cadre for three months.

Al-Shaddadi confirmed readiness of health office to provide support to the unit and providing it with medicines and medical appliances to ensure continuous operation and providing its medical services to the people.
