Yemen has participated in the virtual Summit on the Future of Food, held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, represented by a delegation headed by the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries Salem Al Socotri.
The summit, which comes within the implementation of the new strategic framework launched by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), aims to enhance the future of food and the efforts made to facilitate effective development in the field of food security.
At the summit, Minister Al-Socotri reviewed a working paper entitled "Trade, Innovation and Technology for Food Security", which covered the indicators related to food security as one of the basic objectives of the 2030 Sustainable Development Plan.
