Al-Sharjabi discusses with NRC implementing water projects in Taiz

Minister of Water and Environment Tawfeeq al-Sharjabi discussed Wednesday with Director of Canadian Norwegian Center Muses Kasaga implementing water projects in Taiz.

The Norwegian official provided details on the donation provided by the center for rehabilitating three wells and transport line for five KMs. in Taiz to supply Taiz city with 2000 cubic meter of water.

The meeting touched upon water situation in Taiz over Houthi siege on the city and necessity of supporting donors to rehabilitate water and sanitation infrastructure in the province.

Al-Sharjabi confirmed importance of making new strategy for implementing projects to include current needs, confirming that the Norwegian center will be supporter to different projects in field of water and sanitation.

The director of Norwegian center confirmed readiness of the center to provide more support to water and sanitation fields in many areas in coordination with the ministry.
