Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak met here today with Minister of State in the German Foreign Ministry Tobias Lindner on the sideline of Munich Conference on Security.
The conversations covered a range of topical issues in Yemen including the latest political and military developments, Yemeni government's efforts to re-establish peace and Houthi militias' insistence on prolonging the war, further worsening the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
Bin Mubarak stated that the Yemeni government has been determined to change the balances of power on the ground, establish nationwide alignment to eliminate the militia's coup d'état and handle the economy's challenges.
The Foreign Minister called for ramping up international pressures upon Houthi militias, impose sanctions on its leaders to peace in Yemen.
The German Minister stated that Germany is willing to contribute to the peace efforts in order to end the war, reach peaceful settlement.
