Minister of Public Health and Population Qasem Buhaibeh and Governor of Aden Ahmad Lamlas launched Saturday the first round of anti-polio vaccination campaign carried out by the ministry in liberated provinces.

The campaign targets vaccinating more than two million children under ten and carried out by 12496 health team.

Representatives of World Health Organization and UNICEF in Yemen Adham Rashad and Philip Dominil praised technical preparations by the ministry, expressing hope that the campaign will achieve its goals of protecting children against polio.
