Yemen is participating in the Egypt International Petroleum Conference and Exhibition, which was inaugurated by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and will conclude on February 16.
The conference aims to advance opportunities that lead to achieving global partnerships and interdependence to do business, with the participation of 11 ministers in the petroleum sector worldwide, in addition to 19 CEOs, 8 secretaries-general, international industry leaders, and many companies, policy makers and international industry leaders. Yemen was represented at the conference by the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Abdulsalam Baaboud, who participated in the discussion session on "The Road to Recovery of the Oil Sector, Modern Market Dynamics, and Cooperation between Producer and Consumer to Ensure Prosperity and Stability of Energy Supply Sector."
