Maritime Affairs Authority Discusses with European Nordic Support Foundation Enhancing Maritime Security
The Chief Executive of the General Maritime Affairs Authority Faheem Saif met Monday with the Regional Director of the International Support Foundation for the Nordic Countries Qasim Douali. The two parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of maritime security, pollution control and enhancing the Authority’s technical capacities.

Shabwah Governor discusses with ICRC's official humanitarian interventions

Governor of Shabwa Awadh al-Awlaqi discussed Monday with the Head of ICRC's Mission in Aden humanitarian interventions of the committee during disasters, wars and ordeals.

The meeting touched upon general situations in the province and cooperation horizons in all fields and including a number of basic sectors in making studies on practical needs to the government in humanitarian and health fields.

Governor al-Awlaqi praised interventions of the committee to Yemeni Red Crescent across Yemen and its medical support to Usailan Hospital during the recent war.

The governor reviewed the real situation of huge challenges facing the province over the consecutive crises witnessed by the province during the past six years.

For her part, the international official pointed out to possible study of the committee's interventions in the province and agreement on forming work teams to study nature of its interventions in humanitarian and health domains.
