Yemen's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Abdullah al-Sa'adi has confirmed readiness of the government of Yemen to support efforts of the UN Group of Eminent International and Regional Experts on Yemen to perform its work in Yemen.
In his meeting with the coordinator and members of the team through visual communications on Wednesday, the team briefed al-Sa'adi on its final report on Yemen's situation of 2012 to be released by the end of this January.
He expressed government's appreciation to the team's work and providing detailed reports reveal violations committed by Houthi militia, violating principles of penalty commission including ban on importing weapons, reconfirming Yemeni government's commitment to facilitate the work of the team regarding clarifying facts to the international community.
For her part, the coordinator of the team expressed appreciation to the government of Yemen for its care and facilitating field visits and responding to questions of the team.
She also thanked the government for its constant readiness to facilitate challenges facing the team.
