Our country's ambassador to Ottawa, and Dean of the Council of the Arab Ambassadors, Jamal Al-Sallal, discussed with the Canadian Undersecretary for International Development, Ambassador Peter Mac Dougall ways to strengthen and develop the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in all fields, especially in the field of development and reconstruction efforts.
Ambassador Al-Sallal reviewed the latest developments in Yemeni affairs and its developments at various levels, stressing the Yemeni government's keenness to achieve lasting and comprehensive peace.
Ambassador Al-Sallal expressed our country’s thanks to Canada for its generous humanitarian support during the year 2021 AD, expressing his aspiration to increase humanitarian support and support the humanitarian response plan for our country in the year 2022 AD.
For his part, the Canadian official praised the Yemeni government’s keenness and quest to bring peace to Yemen, stressing his country’s support for Yemen and the peace efforts led by the United Nations through the UN Special Envoy to Yemen.
