The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

Al-Zaori discusses with Kuwaiti official promoting joint work

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Mohammed al-Zaori has discussed with Deputy Minister of Social Affairs of Kuwait Abdulaziz Shuaib promoting cooperation between the two countries in different fields.
The meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the 41st Round of Arab Social Affair Ministers concluded here on Thursday, touched upon relief and humanitarian support from Kuwaiti agencies to Yemen and significance of these projects in improving humanitarian situations in the country.
The meeting also touched upon importance of joint Arab work in taking care of child, aged and disabled people and realizing standers of care to them.
Al-Zaori praised Kuwaiti efforts for supporting Yemeni people and Kuwaiti support provided to international organizations and agencies to implement relief and development projects in Yemen.
For his part, the Kuwaiti official confirmed his country's continuous different types of support to government and Yemeni people.
