Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh received Sunday Russian Ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Dudeshken on ending his diplomatic duty in Yemen.
The meeting tackled aspects of cooperation and relations between the two countries and means of promoting them.
Vice President appreciated efforts exerted by Russian ambassador in the framework of supporting Yemen's internationally-recognized government and efforts of realizing peace in Yemen, hoping him success in his future duties.
He confirmed Yemen's firm position for realizing peace and its positive dealing with brotherly initiatives and efforts of friends amid Houthi militia's insistence on hindering all efforts and continue war.
He confirmed that the three internationally agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the Outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216, are establishing permanent and inclusive peace if Houthi militia abandons its terrorist approach.
For his part, the Russian diplomat expressed his appreciation for cooperation and facilitations he got while in duty in Yemen, confirming his country's continuous support for realizing peace and keenness on Yemen's security and stability.
