Al-Barakani participates in the 16th Session of OIC Conference in Turkey

Speaker of Parliament Sultan al-Barakani contributed today to the 16th Session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (PUIC) held in Istanbul, Turkey on December 9-10.

He drew attention to the unbearable suffering the Yemeni peoples have been enduring for more than seven years as a result of Iran-backed Houthi militias coup against the official government.

" Yemen has been experiencing unbearable agony caused the racist-sectarian Houthi gang backed by Iranian destructive tools, abhorrent ideological and damaging sectarian attitudes", he said.

He pointed out to the ongoing militiamen military operations on the governorate of Marib which has become the main destination of the IDP who fled their own regions for their lives due to Houthi militias' atrocities.

He called on the OIC member states to stand with the Yemeni peoples against Houthi militia's coup to put an end of the devastating war triggered by the militiamen.
