The General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Abdullah Al-Rabiah launched today the delivery of 154 trucks carrying more than 30,000 food baskets targeting 15 Yemeni governorates, as part of the project to support food security in Yemen for the year 2021-2022.
Dr. Al-Rabiah explained to the Saudi Press Agency that the convoy comes within a series of relief and humanitarian projects and programs implemented by Ksrelief, which have so far amounted to 644 projects implemented in all parts of Yemen without discrimination.
He pointed out that the convoy, consisting of 154 trucks, is the first in the food security project, which will include the operation of 973 relief trucks carrying more than 192,000 food baskets.
