The team of the National Enquiry Commission into the Allegations of Human Rights Violations documented the violations that affected civilians in the Hays district, Hodeidah Governorate, by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.
The commission’s team listened to the testimonies of a number of eyewitnesses to the various violations that affected civilians in the villages of al-Qimma, al-Ha’it and al-Maqan’ in the Hays district, including the Houthi bombing of residential neighborhoods, schools and mosques, which resulted in the death and injury of civilians, including women and children, in addition to the forced displacement of the population and planting of landmines in agricultural lands and roads.
