Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Salim al-Wali and Chairman of Customs Authority Abdulhakim al-Qobati held talks today, Saturday, here with the Executive Director of the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF) for Trade-Related Assistance for the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) Ratnaker Adhikari.
The discussions focused on aspects of mutual cooperation between the two sides.
Al-Wali and al-Qobati sought for international support for Yemen in the fields of trade and customs through the EIF organization.
On other development, al-Wali and al-Qobati met separately with the Director of the Access and Market Department in the World Trade Organization Soja Maforwidas.
They discussed the idea of establishing a steering national Yemeni committee for trade and the needed technical support for Yemen in this regard.
