Foreign Minister Discusses Humanitarian and Development Respons

Foreign Minister and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba discussed today with Acting UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen Laurent Bukera the latest developments and the repercussions of the recent escalation by the Iran-backed Houthi militia, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation between the Yemeni government and the United Nations to address humanitarian and development needs.

FM, Italian SP review Yemen developments

Yemen's Foreign Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak met the speaker of the Italian parliament Roberto Fico today and discussed with him the bilateral relations and developments in Yemen.

The Minister pointed to the importance of working to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and resume bilateral cooperation in development and cultural exchange, and support the efforts of the Yemeni government to bring peace to peace in its country.

He pointed to the government's efforts to achieve peace and in line with the regional initiatives in force.

He highlighted the danger posed by the oil tanker FSO to the Red Sea and the region as the Houthis reject all attempts to maintain it.
