Vice President General Lieutenant Ali Mohsen Saleh handed over Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Al Thani a letter from his brother President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi.
Vice President conveyed best wishes of President Hadi to Emir of Qatar and brother Qatari people, hoping him continued health and happiness and more progress and prosperity to Qatari people.
The meeting touched upon relations between the two brotherly countries and means of promoting and improving them.
Vice President congratulated Emir of Qatar on the success of the ceremony of hosting Arab Cup Championship 2021, thanking him for good and hospitable reception.
He reviewed a number of latest developments in Yemen and the negative changes Yemen goes through over Houthi militia's coup against the state's institutions in Yemen in 2014, praising support of brothers and friends to the internationally recognized government and to Yemeni people's will for regaining the state's institutions and for realizing peace.
For his part, the Qatari Emir welcomed the visit of Vice President and the accompanying delegation, asking him to convey his best wishes to President Hadi, hoping him continued health and realizing peace and stability to Yemeni people.
He renewed his country's full support to the legitimacy of Yemen and to unity, security and sovereignty of the country.
