The Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani held a meeting on Sunday to review the latest developments following the Iranian violations of Yemen's sovereignty and the measures taken to manage the current phase across its political, military, security, diplomatic, economic, and media dimensions, in coordination with the Presidential Leadership Council.

Cabinet approves dispensing annual salary increments of civil services employees

The Council of Ministers has decided to give out annual salary increments for the public civil service employees at both national and local levels which have been postponed for the years 2014-2020.

The Cabinet decision has come in a response to a proposition presented by Minister of Civil Service and Insurances due to the increasingly raising of living costs and economic hardships.

The two Ministries of Civil Service and Finance are urged to get the processing procedures accomplished in accordance with regulatory rules.

The Council of Ministers has made its decision in its session held today in the temporary capital Aden presided over by Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik.

Military advancements gained recently by the government troops in Marib, Hodiedah and Taiz were elaborately discussed.

The security developments and primary findings of the investigations into the terrorist incidents in the temporary capital Aden were also touched upon.
