Yemeni-Japanese relationship discussed

Charged' Affairs of the Republic of Yemen to Tokyo Bashir Qasem met today with the Assistant of the Japanese Foreign Minister, Head of Middle East and North Africa Department Ambassador Kansuka Najoka.

Yemeni-Japanese bilateral relations and the latest developments in Yemen was key point of the conversations.

Yemeni government's support to the UN-led peace efforts, Houthi militia's current military operations on Marib governorate, violations and crimes committed by the militiamen against civilians in Marib and Hodeidah and Iran's involvement in the Yemeni conflict all were elaborately discussed.

Qaesm expressed the Yemeni government's deep thanks and gratitude to the Japanese government and people for their significant contribution to the humanitarian actions in Yemen.

The Japanese official reiterated his country's support for the legitimate Yemeni government, Yemen's unity and territorial integrity.
