Minister of Education Tareq al-Akbari underlined the need for making war, crises-stricken nations a top priority in the programs of the UNESCO in order to keep on the educational process and preserve antiquities and cultural heritage.
Speaking today at the UNESCO 41st Session held in Paris " Ministry of Education in Yemen has done utmost efforts to avert the overall collapse of the educational system and process amid the disastrous situations created by the ongoing divesting war triggered by Houthi militia".
The Minister called for active partnership and cooperation between Yemen, UNESCO and international partners to ensure Yemeni children access to education through developmental and educational programs.
