Yemen's Ambassador to Malaysia Adel Bahumaid acquainted Advisor of Malaysian Prime Minister Azalina Othman with latest developments in Yemen led by human rights issue and violations committed by Houthi militia- with support from Iranian regime- against Yemeni people.
Bahumaid conveyed congratulations of the government of Yemen to Malaysian government on electing Malaysia a member in the UN Human Rights Council for the period 2022-2024, confirming significance of continuation coordination between Yemen and Malaysia in international forums for the interests of the two countries.
He pointed out to humanitarian tragedy in a number of districts in Marib, Shabwa and Taiz over Houthi militia's continuous military escalation and shelling populated neighborhoods by ballistic rockets and drones and besieging Tai City.
