Minister of Water and Environment Tawfeeq al-Sharjabi participated Saturday in the high-level activity on education and environment held under the motto of " Together for active Future for Climate Work in Water and Education Sector" here by the UN Conference of Climate Change.
Participated by Ministers of Environment and Education of participating countries, the activity stressed significance of reaching a zero-emanation level by different educational sectors, in addition to urgent need of including principles of environment and climate change in these sectors.
Minister al-Sharjabi confirmed necessity of including societies in environmental issues in correct scientific method and spreading understandings and values of environment, which will boost environmental awareness among youth.
