The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen, expressed his condemnation and rejection of the statements of the Lebanese Minister of Information, George Kordahi, regarding the situation in Yemen and the insult to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the head of the Islamic Summit, and the United Arab Emirates. Al-Othaimeen stressed in a press statement today that the statements of the Lebanese Minister of Information are "irresponsible behavior and indifferent to the interests of the Yemeni people."
He pointed out that the Lebanese Minister ignored the efforts made by Saudi Arabia to achieve peace and a cease-fire, which is facing the intransigence of the Houthis and their insistence on directing ballistic missiles and booby-trapped planes at the Yemeni people and civilians in Saudi Arabia and targeting Saudi lands and citizens and residents on its lands.
Al-Othaimeen called on the Lebanese Minister to "immediately apologize.
