Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ahmad Awadh bin Mubarak discussed Monday with Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Bilal Akbar coordinating Yemeni-Pakistani positions regrading common concerned issues in international forums.
Bin Mubarak touched upon latest developments in Yemen and efforts exerted to realize peace, pointing out to Houthi militia's continuous military escalation on Marib, which hosts more than two million displaced people, and Houthi militia's shelling against the besieged people of al-Abdia District in Marib.
He praised Pakistani position supporting Yemen and its internationally-recognized government.
For his part, the Pakistani diplomat praised unique relations between the two countries, confirming his country's support to Yemen's unity, security and stability and support to exerted efforts for realizing peace and stability in Yemen.
