The Head of the Coast Guard Department, Major General Khaled Al-Qemli, met today with the Director of the Global Program to Combat Maritime Crime of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the Regional Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in the Middle East and North Africa.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation, the capabilities of the Yemeni Coast Guard and to provide the necessary support to advance its tasks and secure the Yemeni coast in line with the Coast Guard's strategy to achieve maritime security and combat maritime crime.
