An official source in the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) welcomed the package of practical economic, financial and administrative decisions and measures taken by the Council of Ministers in its meeting today, Tuesday, in the temporary capital, Aden, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Shaya Zindani, describing them as a step forward on the path of comprehensive reforms aimed at improving living conditions, enhancing the efficiency of state institutions, consolidating the principles of transparency and governance, and building an economic and administrative model capable of satisfying the aspirations of the people.

Bin Mubarak confers with Swedish envoy over peace efforts

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Bin Mubarak met today with the Swedish Special Envy to Yemen Peter Semnby.

They discussed the political developments in Yemen and the efforts have been made to achieve peace.

Bin Mubarak informed Semnby about grave violations and atrocities that Houthi militiamen have been committing against the Yemen, citing the choking blockade imposed on al-Abidia District in Marib, ongoing aggressive military operations on the besieged villagers with ballistic missiles and heavy weapons, disrupting food, medicines and fuels supplies, preventing evacuation of the injured and sick people.

The Swedish diplomat confirmed his country's support for Yemen's unity, security and stability.

He stated that his government will do utmost to contribute to the efforts aiming to get the Yemeni crisis resolved.
