Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfeeq al-Sharjabi met today with the French Ambassador to Yemen Jean-Marie SAFA.

The discussions covered topical issues of common concerns and interests.

Al-Sharjabi sought for French assistance and contribution to projects that can help managing malnutrition, starvation and controlling Cholera pandemic .

He highly appreciated French contribution to funding the UN's technical team authorized to inspect, repair and unload Safer Oil Tanker.

The French diplomat confirmed his country willingness to work with the Yemeni government for improving basic services, reaffirming France's full support for Yemen security and security.
