Kuwaiti Fund signs Grant Agreement Worth $1.2 million for displaced persons in Yemen
The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development signed Thursday a Grant Agreement with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) worth $1.2 million to contribute to the rehabilitation and maintenance of homes for displaced persons in Yemen.

KSA,UAE,UK and USA declare it is important to support Yemeni government to establish security, stability

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), United Arab Emirates (UAE), United Kingdom and the United States of America have confirmed in a joint statement today, Thursday, that it is very important to support the Yemeni government in order to achieve security, stability and provide the people with basic services.

The diplomatic missions of the KSA, UAE, UK and USA in Yemen welcomed the return of the Prime Minister and the Yemeni government to the interim capital Aden, affirming that it is of paramount importance to fully support the Yemeni government so that it do its job effectively.

The statements reads" It is important to fully support the Yemeni government to establish security, stability and provide the basic services including undertaking the urgently needed economic reforms that the Yemeni people are desperately looking for".

Concerning to the deteriorated economic situation the statement asserted that it is very necessary to allow the government resume its action in Aden.

All parties are urged to work together on behalf of the Yemeni people to put Riyadh Agreement in place.
